Wonderful If Only The Teenager I Purchased Them For Could Be
Tell me if you've heard this one. You have a teenager who thinks they know everything. They are on the honor society maybe. They haven't gone to jail for anything yet. They hang with the "right crowd" and clean the litterbox within 3 days of being told to do so. They even have a job say at an ice cream shop where they have to stand the entire time for maybe 6 hours and complain their feet hurt. They never stand for more than 5 minutes at any other time except when they are playing a sport and they complain their feet hurt. You as their parent send them to the mall to buy shoes let's us say but they can never find anything in their size that is under oh $500. Your teen has fat, flat size 11 women's feet. So you order these shows and another two pairs from Amazon. The other two pairs arrive first and she hates one of them for no reason other than she does. Ok. Those will go back. The second pair of totally black shoes, which I put on her feet while she was blindfolded so she didn't judge them by their looks because they didn't have a swoosh or Jordan on them, she said felt good. After removing the blindfold she hated them even though they were very comfortable. She said she would keep them for work only. The next day these black shoes appeared. Same thing, blindfold, I put them on, she's moaning she didn't need another pair of black comfy shoes. Blindfold off and she says she doesn't need another pair of comfortable shoes because she has the other ones that she plans to throw out before college begins in August because quote, "You don't walk anywhere in college but a few steps." God give me strength. We just went to Admitted Student Day and walked for miles! She complained her feet hurt. I complained my feet hurt. She rolled her eyes. I rolled my eyes. He dad rolled his eyes and burst out laughing. So anyway, I have to return these shoes because she said as comfortable as they are they don't have a swoosh or Nike thing or Jordan thing on them. All shoes that are uncomfortable and sitting unused in her closet currently have Swooshes or designer logos. I know in September I will be reordering these same shoes. They are exactly what she wants though they lack a designer emblem. God needs to give me the strength to continue to find the humor in teenagers and just roll my eyes back at them. BTW these shoes were easy for me to put on her feet, they are very well made, and they fit her extra wide size 11 or 12 women's feet nicely but what do I know? Only negative was they didn't arrive in a box and they had no tags on them. They were in a plastic bag that read, "Ready To Ship," which is usually used for returns, however, they do not appear to have been worn. Please put some Swooshy logo so my teens thinks they are designer and then send them back to me!

Really great shoes for wide feet and they accommodate narrow heels too!
You know, for $49 these shoes crush it. I have bunions and for the last 10-years I've been floating between Keen, Topo, and Altra for shoes wide enough to relieve my feet. Unfortunately, the latter two have terrible QC and one uneven pair gave me excruciating achilles pain and a $$$ trip to the orthopedist and then PT. Since then I've been wearing Birkenstock Bend and Keen Original Fit hikers, but they're $$$$.These shoes fit, tons of forefoot room, very good laces that don't come untied (another headache of the other brands) and my narrow heel doesn't slip out up hills and stairs (a problem with some Keens). They're a little firm, as other reviewers have said, but I bet a squishier insert would fix that up fine.

Found an insert that fits
I loved these the hated these and now I love them again. Let me explain....When I first started wearing these Bronax I loved the fit and room. Over about a year and a half later the back of the insert ridge around the heel started to feel like I was walking on a backwards horseshoe because of the curve around the heel of the insert. This was hurting my foot over time. I developed heel pain. When I stopped wearing these shoes for four days all the heel pain went away. It was that which led me to the discovery that my heel didn't sit flat enough in these shoes. I went on a quest to find inserts that fit these and struck out multiple times. I finally asked Grok for a recommendation of a foot shaped insert with a natural splay to fit these shoes. I told me to order inserts from a company out of Bolder, CO called Lems Shoes. I ordered a women's size 11 insert for these 9.5 wide Bronax shoes. These inserts are perfect. They fit perfectly that without even trimming them. The foot shape matched perfectly. So I am back to loving my Bronax shoes again.

Cute & wide enough for my swollen feet @ same size as before injury.
Very cute shoes and plenty of room for my swollen feet. Since I can no longer wear my regular shoes I ordered these with a wider basic design. While tempted to go up a size, I didn't and they fit. I was worried that my heel would slip around since these are wider than my normal shoes, but it seems fine so far. These seem well made, but I pronate quite a bit. I should know soon how well they withstand it. (Will post update). Update 5/10/25: heel still very firm & my foot does not slip around in them. The back of the heel does not bend even when laces are pretty tight & Im putting them on. Good design.

Fashionable and comfortable
I started to develop a bunion on my right foot. I’m trying to take care of it so it doesn’t get worse and ordered these wide toe box shoes. Many other shoes with wide toe box are not very fashionable. These are fashionable, comfortable, and does not hurt my bunion. The first time wearing them I walked over 3500 steps and felt like I was bouncing and walking on a cloud. Highly recommend! I’ll be ordering more in different colors.

Better suited for "chunky" wide feet.
I've had these for a few months and I have wide feet but not chunky. I feel these better suit people with wide but chunkier feet as they are a little too roomie and my feet slide around a it. I feel no ankle stability and as I've "broken" them in they've gotten more loose or stretchy and feel even less stability maybe even causing a bit of pain. The sole felt a little hard at first but that has gotten a bit better. Again, it's a good shoe but just doesn't work for me.

Wide toe area
I have these in the black and the crimson. I am a hard person to buy shoes for. I have kinda wide feet and most shoes have too small of a toe box for me. These are wide in the toes and I have worn them all day without blisters or ingrown nails, so they are a win for me. The only thing I don't like is that, because of the wide toe area, I fell like they are almost too big. But, all things considered, they are a winner in my book.
