This belt works very well for holding my husband's PD catheter in place and means he does not have to use excessive amounts of tape to do the job (especially important if you have a hairy abdomen). The dark colour makes it discreet to wear as it just looks like the elastic of boxers/hipsters or similarOnly room for improvement is that the spikey side of velcro fastening does catch on clothing if you haven't got it completely level with the other side of the velcro and this can cause the clothing to fur up. I have tried several makes and all have the same issue. To get round this I have sewn some bias binding down both sides of the velcro and this is sufficient to solve the problem whilst still securing without any issues. Would be very easy for this to be done at manufacturing stage. With this improvement would have scored it a 5 and would still buy again myself.

Firstly I will have to say that this belt does the job perfectly, I wear it more around my waist than tummy and it fits well I have a medium. The PD tube fits through the belt and there is a pocket for the connector. I have marked it down a star as I feel it is over priced as basically it is a bit of elastic with some velcro on it , however it does do as advertised

I had to cut a slit in the belt to feed my tube through to enable it to sit flush to my stomach. After that it works fine.

I thought these were pure cotton but they are just an oversized piece of elastic and my son hated wearing it as it makes skin itch

This belt is great for holding peritoneal catheter in place, but can irritate the skin as the velcro bit scratches the skin. Normally have to wear it over a t shirt to avoid this.
