works well for what it is
I had gotten the single of this and tossed it in a BOB. Really have too much in there. I usually carry a larger folding knife with me. But was doing something in the truck and had on shorts. Needed a knife and mine was in the house clipped to my jeans. So, got the 2 pack of these to keep one in the truck and one in the car.No, they don't lock open. Really they're not made for radical use where you'd be worried about it closing on you. It's feels pretty sturdy, and is a little stiff opening and closing. I just wanted to strip a wire, open a box, or trim something. I have more serious knives for more serious things, but if they're not right there when I need them... They're decently sharp. I had touched up my kitchen knives with a belt sharpener a couple weeks before. I have too much on my plate to get it out again just for these, but when I eventually get it out again, these will be shaving sharp. Not a bad price for 2 useful little utility knives.

Nice small knife
It's small but mighty. I bought it to open boxes and packages from Amazon. Works well. My only complaint is that it has no pocket clip. It's too big to clip on my keys. The knife opens easily. Has great balance too. At first it was very stiff, but after using it for awhile it has gotten much better. I will order this again as it is a great value for the money paid.

*CAUTION - VERY SHARP!*
This knife is gorgeous! It not only looks fantastic but it also cuts extremely well. It's heavy in my hand, and the blade doesn't lock when it's open, but it is a little hard to open, so it stays open with no problem. You just have to be very careful with it. I keep mine in the box it came in and I taped a warning on both sides of the box.

Had to Return; but can be a great knife
I bought this knife knowing exactly what to expect because I own the same knife in pastel pink only it was ordered elsewhere for under $2. This one came in a torn box and as it slid on to my lap, I noticed fingerprints on the handle and blade when opened. Skip if yiu dont like the "picky parts" but there was a sharpening line I've noticed sometimes appears after using certain manual sharpeners- I am not a metals expert (metalergist?)nor a bladesmith /aichmomaniac but do own quite a few knives of all kinds otherwise this review is simply a collection of my unprofessional observations and opinions.Another disappointment is the advert shows THREE knives in every part from the intro pics to the description and w/my inquiry ignored I noticed the top reviews (still published) commenting on being "surprised to receive 3 knives for $...." which further confirmed the photos of 3 knives- in my mind. I mentioned buying the same one prior from another company for 1/3 the price and along w/adverts from other sellers on this page with 4 - 5 of the same knife for $11 / 12 USD sealed it in my head to where receiving only one used knife was more than disappointing. I returned and opted for the other company with guaranteed multiple blades. I do believe if you know what you're getting and want a sharp blade with a modern look that is lightweight, conveniently sized and easy to open and close without being too slack and being just stiff enough- the new version should be a great addition to your collection. I want to add if you are a petite woman /man / them who uses knives daily for work and other tasks it can easily clip as it does on most of my loupes and even my thin bag straps/ and some random accessories when I need a quick creative solution...so all reviews will differ there as it is subjective. For me it's quality because it allows for quick access while also being small enough to keep out of sight. Lastly, with locking issues, perhaps someone got a bad unit or they didn't feel comfortable because they weren't familiarized with thir tool or the "Slip notch" knife closure which if made correctly is not unsafe. It's a cost effective method where a spring is placed against a notch in the inner liner via one of several methods (different names for each position type) this adds an "obstacle" making the knife more difficult to close without (what we now consider a true locking blade) but effective nonetheless and friendly for the ambidextrous persons like myself; e.g.. I dont have to stop and think if i can use my left hand to safely open and close. For reference, these being older designs that have stood the test of time- consider if ever used a Swiss pocket knife; same principles. Regardless, I described not to bore anyone nor shame but because safety is crucial and anyone new to knives should treat it like any other tool or weapon and educate trhemselves by reading or taking a course. I edited a typo but shouldve checked my facts as a more experienced handler may find flaws with what ive written and there is always room for learning and polite corrections:)

Great little knife!
I ordered a variety of different pocket knives, not of any particular make or model. From different sellers. Varying shapes and sizes. The prices varied as well. Starting with this small, little fella, at a cost of 6.99$ at the time.. (being the least amount of money for any one knife).I had little to NO expectations for its performance. And for this reason perhaps, I was more than satisfied to discover that out of any of the items I ordered, this one was without a question the best purchase. It might of been the last thing i ordered, and it came maybe first and foremost. I had forgotten about its existence while all but one of its counterparts had arrived. After glancing over my order history, i remembered having gifted this to my wife to keep in her purse. So with curiosity i asked her to retrieve of it for me to inspect it. I did admire it some, in all of its glory, which come in just over an inch and a half in blade length and maybe 3” length open in all.I had about some very dense/hard oak wood palette scrap wood from a recent project, that I took to carving off some with this small yet mighty blade. My impressions right off were that it was light to hold, maybe as light as to be expected, no more, no less, but also feeling sturdy, and not cheaply made. The blade is very shiny with a satin/polished finish, and SHARP! Razor sharp could be an exaggeration, but I’ve been accused of worse. Also quite recently. After making several passes, slicing clean through, with precision and ease, and to my own surprise, I further admired the blade, clean and free off any debris and damage. The blades edge was remained sharp. Impressed, and with some hesitation I carefully folded the knife back up, before returning it to my wife. If not for having several small children, she might of utilized its capability to affix the thing onto one of the small metal loops that bind the bag to its strap. Instead she nearly tucked it back into the reaches of her purse from which it resides.

No safety lock on blade
Cool small pocket knife to open envelopes peel an apple that’s about it. Dosent have safety lock for the blade so an inexperienced first time user could easily hurt themselves. But at your own risk, also it has a key chain clip
