Did the trick, hope it'll stick
I have a Honda Odyssey '05. There are metal "rails" that I think are just aesthetic, covering a seam on the roof on both sides from the windshield back to the beginning of the roof rack. The "rails" were originally covered with a black rubber of some sort; these rubber strips peeled away from the metal due to car age/wear I guess. I would tape them down to the car roof, not knowing what else to do with them, and once I got going to a certain speed, or after enough rainfalls, the rubber strips would start flapping around in the air above my car like one of those inflatables outside a car dealership. I bought this product because I thought maybe I could just stick it to the existing metal rails that are still on the car, and it worked well for that purpose. I cleaned under the metal rails as much as I could (tree debris) blowing it out from under the metal using an air pump, and made sure the metal surface was clean for good adhesion. I did tuck a 1/8" edge under something at either end of where I was adhering it to hopefully enhance its staying power. It looks great, and I had probably a good 8" left over when I finished both sides. Now to see how long it lasts, with heat, rain, cold, etc. I will update this review if this does not last a year.

Not the best
I purchased this to replace the molding on my electric mobility scooter. Unfortunately, this product does not adhere as well as I thought it should and I ended up having to use glue to get it to stay where I needed it to go.

Very thin and poor adhesive.
This is not a high quality product. It is less than 1/2 as thick as an American make product. It did not match the OEM thickness. The adhesive has a red cover plastic made to look like the standard 3M double sided tape but is clearly an inferior product that doesn't even stick to the trim itself. Would not recommend.

Fits the ford roof channels
I was looking for something to put in the roof channels on a gen10 F150 and this trim fit. I secured it with sealant and it’s holding up well

Worked well for a while
the tape is not very good because it's two slivers on the outside...so dirt can get in middle and compromize its integrity. The tape I didn't use seem to go bad. I went to make some repairs, and the it wouldn't stick at all.
