Q: Is this an official nintendo branded game cube controller?

Yes, I personally ordered two of these a week ago and they are definitely Nintendo brand. It is worth buying because they actually work well compared to the "2 for $8" junk off-brand controllers

Dead zone is too big for movement. It's trash .

Q: Is this product Wii compatable?

It depends on which model Wii you have. If the model number of your Wii begins with RVL-001, it's compatible. (This machine is designed to sit vertically.) The prefix of the serial number will be "LU" or "LB". This is the first release of the Wii. Later models removed support for Gamecube games, and the ports to plug in Gamecube controllers were removed. Later model numbers are RVL-101, with serial numbers beginning with "KU" or "KB", and RVL-201, with serial numbers beginning with "HW". (These models were designed to sit horizontally.) Nintendo has a support page that explains all of this if you have any more questions.

Q: Is this an official Nintendo product?

As far as I know, the other colors are official Nintendo products (bought both) and it shouldn't be different with the black controller.
