Seems to work. Not being a professional I just found a product identical to the one I replaced. This vacuum switch is activated when your furnace turns on letting the igniter heat up and firing up the gas. The system is designed with safety in mind, and all conditions have to be right in order for your furnace to start. A small fan comes on that supplies the fresh air to the combustion chamber. A rubber tube goes from it to the switch that creates the vaccum that activates the switch. Hopefully it keeps working. I have also had to replace the combustion fan. The combustion fan heats up more than I like and would think they would have something more robust for such an important task.
