Not only does this bean bag completely consume you and keep you stuck in comfortable bliss all day....but there was another consequence we encountered. This bean bag traps farts. I have fallen in love. I told my husband I was officially having an affair with this amazing chair. Unboxing it was a trip. Make sure the plastic doesn't get hung up on the bag it arrives in. It took very little time for me and the hubby to get out our frustrations by beating, kicking and rolling this around. My hubby knew this was a keeper and perfect for me. This was my first time using the chair and as you can see, it cradled me to sleep. BEST. PURCHASE. EVER! I've already gave it a name..."Mama Smurf".YES, you must spend time breaking up the memory foam and you HAVE to really put the time in to fully enjoy this amazing cloud of heaven. I've read posts about this not being filled up enough. In my personal opinion, if you added more foam, you'd have a heavy chair that doesn't allow you to feel the hugs and it would be so dense which in my opinion, completely defeats the purpose for this chair.

Do not buy this if you are searching for a kids bean bag that is light. This is HEAVY. Comes compressed and after it blows up it will fill up a small room. For an adult or teenager this would make adequate seating if you were to replace an entire lazy chair just with it. However, I find the very large and irregular foam pieces to feel quite uncomfortable through the cover and it is so heavy that it would have to be drug by two people from spot to spot....if you actually have a huge house....which I do not. I am returning, but sadly will lose cost of shipping and a 20% restocking fee per the seller, so I am out money for a product I cannot use. It's great quality for a furniture sized and VERY firm piece of furniture, but it is NOT a soft, comfy beanbag chair. And it is huge. I repeat...HUGE. I have been told to remove stuffing to stuff it into a box to return. I'll have to hire someone with a truck just to get it to ups. Not happy with the purchase or return process at all.Update: The customer service for this product has turned out to be amazing! They have refunded my purchase and have offered to allow me to return the product with less fill so I may be able to transport it to the mail center. I would like to stress that this chair is very well made and if you are looking for a chair that is large in size and supportive enough to replace an actual chair in a game room or living room this is a good choice. I feel as if I have been treated fairly by this company and will be recommending thier products to others in the future! To save this company from a loss, please understand that these are substantial pieces of very well made furniture....not an airy and light bean bag like the pellet types. I can see this chair lasting for over 20 years even with heavy use. Very impressed with this company for thier quick action and understanding.

I have to admit this was an impluse buy! My husband kept saying he wanted a giant bean bag couch. I surprised him by ordering it this past Christmas. We both under-estimated how big this thing is! 7 Feet is no joke, it looks like we have a giant baked potato in our living room :) But, it is comfortable, I love taking naps on it. Our 4 year daughter, the cats and the dog enjoy it as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this product or this company. It looks great and is much cheaper than a lovesac or a couch. Everyone loves it. I even had a minor issue with my product and Lumaland Customer Service corrected it immediately and painlessly. There are a lot of similar products out there, but I suggest going with this one!

My son is 13 and very severely autistic. He’s basically a toddler in a grown man’s body. It’s always difficult to buy him gifts and it’s disheartening to realize just how different he is from other teenagers. There’s very little that interests him other than being in a pool (it’s winter though), his swing that he’s pretty much outgrown, and his iPad. We set the bean bag up on Christmas Eve after my son went to bed. In the morning when he saw it he went straight for it and lay down. He spent most of the day in that bean bag chair and it’s where he prefers to be when watching his iPad. My son is nearly 6 ft and over 200 pounds, but this chair is sturdy and big enough to meet his sensory needs. I’ll admit that the cost was a huge stretch for us, but we just wanted to find something to make him happy. And this bean bag chair is very loved already.

I was very surprised at how compacted this bean bag chair was when I received my package. Upon opening this up the chair is condensed into a brain like cube that will slowly expanded and fill with air over a couple of days. You can break it apart by hand to help speed up this process (which is a lot harder than it would seem). Once I had all the foam pieces inside separated, it took about two full days for it to expand to its full size, which is massive. Great value for the money. You can see the above process in the pictures posted. I do not regret this purchase in any way, shape or form. The only thing I see as a negative is that the chair holds its form a little too well. Since it used pieces of foam instead of actual little "beans", it is a bit hard to shape the chair while sitting in it. One would have to stand up and move it around to even out the sitting surface again.Recommended and would buy again!!!

Even the 4-foot is quite a behemoth. Makes the rest of my living room furniture look small by comparison! As a small adult I could've done fine with the 3-foot, wish I'd known before ordering.

Its been 7 days since I opened the package this came in. I followed thr instructions given by the manufacturer to ensure the filling expands to full size, as promised by the manufacturer. When I sit down I just sink into and feel the floor below me. The other issue is the smelI, it smells very strongly of chemicals and it has not gone away. I am very disappointed the bean bag is nowhere near its intended fullnes, softness and comfort. It's unacceptable for the price I paid for this item which seems to be rated very high. I will be contacting Amazon Customer Service to get in touch with the manufacturer. I expect them to rectify this problem or take the item back for a full refund. I will update if I hear back.

We bought two of these, expecting for the price, they'd be amazing. They aren't. They have been open for 8 days and are lumpy and we sink to the floor when we lay on them. We've owned a lot of bean bag chairs with memory foam and have loved them. (The kids have taken them with them when they moved, so we replaced.) So disappointed with these.

Phenomenal quality of beanbag. Straight up one of the highest quality beanbags I’ve ever seen. The fill quality is amazing. They are hefty so expect that. Also the 5’ measurement is when it’s fluffed up and round, once you get on it, it flattens out more allowing even more room. You will never EVER hit bottom in this beanbag. Our kids use them for stunt mats and they are perfect, I’m sturdy 6’4” and I can jump on it and it’s nothing but clouds. Really remarkable.Also a note about the seller. They went above and beyond to help get these to us in time for our kids birthdays (we have 2 of these beanbags). Wonderful to deal with and good to their word.The fill used in these bags...honestly I can’t say enough about it. It’s going to last a lifetime. When it comes to beanbags fill is everything.

This has been a wonderful addition to our playroom. Absolutely HUGE. We use it to lounge on, watch tv on, and use as a crash pad for jumping. Over all, it's great fun and very comfortable!Only complaints are how HEAVY this thing is... and when it's brand new it really does omit a terrible chemically-odour. All the foam inside comes compacted into a dense cube and must be manually up. It's very labour intensive. While all the foam is being broken up, it omits a strong chemical odour. Best to leave windows open for a day or two during that process.Once broken up and fully fluffed, it's fantastic.

Will update my post once I receive an answer.Update: The manufacturer was quick to return following my complaint, and very collaborative in resolving the issue, offering another full-size filling to be shipped immediately or a full refund. Very pleased we opted for the new filling. Delivery was quick. The package had a note inside “please pull from new stock 7ft”. The new filling expanded fully within 12 hours.Purple one on the right is our original purchase, taken out of the box more than 2 weeks ago. Beige filling on the left is the new replacement filling after the first 12 hours of unpackaging. The difference in fullness is clearly visible. Don’t know if old stock versus new stock makes a difference in terms of fluffiness, but ours seemed to be a lemon. With the replacement filling, our Lumaland 7ft now looks and feels right. Our kids love lounging on it. We’re considering getting a smaller extra cover to see if we can repurpose the original filling. Nice save. Product quality is great if it arrives and expands as designed. Customer Service very attentive to customer needs. Highly recommend.
