I have never used anything like these and I found them easy to install the first attempt. Turns out when you press these over the cable (10g 2 wire is what I installed) the nail heads drift toward eachother when you put them on top of the cable, making it easy to hit both at first. They drift a little apart as they go in but its very handy and makes the job go quickly. I like the fact I can't accidentally over pressure the cable due to the flexible plastic mount. 4.5 out of 5. If the plastic was a tiny bit deeper would have given it a perfect but that is getting petty. Very happy with these. Use these or similar and not pounding in those metal "u" nails that over compress the cables. Fires have resulted from people punching the cable down too tightly.

Work for 14-2 up to 12-3 wg.

I’m an electrician for over 40 years and I remember when these first came out. We made fun them and thought they were junk compared to the old school steel Romex staples. Not sure when I first used them. Maybe to staple up coax cable. Anyway started to realize they were easier to hammer in than the old staples. The trick is to hammer in one of the nails maybe around half way then start the other. The other nice thing is if you’re running wire outside like under a deck these staples won’t rust!

Perfect for stapling 12/2 romex in my garage! I like how they’re much easier to drive into wood with the separate nails, compared the traditional all metal “hog nail” staples which require much more force.

They do the job. These thin nails can sometimes be a pain to hammer in a confined area, but they do the job. Easier to install than other cable staples. Depending on thickness of the cable, the nails can be a little long.

These staples do a very neat job and are easy to use. I used to use the metal ones but having tried these fir the first time, these will be my go-to staples.

I tried several different kinds of electrical staples and by far these are the best. They hold good without pinching the wire and damaging it. They are made strong so the nails don’t bend as frequently as some brands do. They are CSA approved staple as well.

Works well with 14 gauge and 12 gauge wires. Not for speaker wires. Good quality.
