Easy to set up - Easy to use
I ordered this for my adult daughter to use to check in on her dogs during the day. I asked he how she liked it and her response was: "Easy to set up. The charge/battery life lasts a surprisingly long time. Also was easy to connect to my phone. Easy to use. 5 stars!"

So So is all I can do for now
Why no 5.0? 2.4 makes it hard to use because it doesn't like to choose it -- just doesn't hook up until it feels like it. PITA but Price is ok. Also storage is a nightmare for users like me.

Camera works great
I got this camera to use indoors, but I wanted the flexibility of having an outdoor camera when I needed it. We don't keep a camera on inside our house at all times, only when we're gone on vacation. The camera itself works great. We have it set on our bookshelf since it has a flat bottom. You don't need to have it mounted in order for it to stay upright. The film and sound quality is surprisingly good. What I can't stand is the app that it requires. The app is pretty bad and borders on useless. I paid for a month subscription to record video in the cloud, but it only works sporadically. Don't pay for the added feature, it's not worth it. If you're going to use this camera, give yourself a few days to figure out how it works. Luckily, I didn't wait until I left town to see how reliable it was. Again, the camera works great, but the app that allows you to view video is awful.

Tough. Works good. Clear picture.
Picture quality is excellent. It was easy to set up, it seems like a high quality, it lived good enough for me to get the data off of it after a house fire, so the size is pretty good, you can put it up out of the way and not really be noticed. The locking base works really well, almost too well LOL. It's hard to put it where you want it but once it's there it's there.

Decent camera, but lacks continuous recording mode
This camera provides good to excellent picture quality, and connection time on the app is about average. The app does have a glitch where it sometimes shows just a black screen, but you simply have to click the back arrow to get your camera picture. The very light and thin lines, and tiny timeline text make it difficult to see where the event recordings are on the timeline. On the plus side this camera weathered extreme cold temperatures and rain very well.If you are looking to record continuously on this camera - save your time and effort - you cannot. I spent a good amount of time trying to get the continuous recording setting, but I then discovered that event recording is the only mode that is available. Apparently, this camera is a low power consumption camera which means you can only record events, and therefore not record continuously. I wish the description of this camera included that piece of important information, as I often like to view the video footage before and after any event. Even connecting it to a constant power source does not allow continuous recording, which is somewhat puzzling. You can manually record live video, but that is only useful when you are on your phone using the app. There's no point in putting in a large GB SD card if you're pointing the camera in a low traffic area, as the camera records very little during moments of movement. Even with a 16 GB SD card it would probably take weeks or months to fill the card with such infrequent event recordings.Since you can't record continuously, it would have been better if internal storage at something like 5 GB was included, then you wouldn't need to purchase a separate SD card. This would have also done away with an extra port on the bottom of the camera and therefore lessen the chance of moisture entering the camera.Overall this is a decent outdoor camera, but the lack of continuous recording, and failure to disclose as such, is a deal breaker for me.
