Highly recommended
These headphones are of excellent quality. I'm very impressed with the quality of the materials and, above all, the sound. I really like that they include three audio modes. They're a good size because they're neither too big nor too small; for me, it's the perfect size. The sound is of excellent quality, and the noise cancellation is great. I use these headphones for hours, and they're very, very comfortable. I even use them to go to the gym, and I recommend them for almost any activity. The battery life is good, and they charge moderately quickly. Another feature I like most about these headphones is that I can customize the audio using an app. In my case, I use it with my iPhone, and it works wonderfully. It's very easy and intuitive to use. To charge them, I use a 20W Apple Fast Charger. I don't know if it speeds up charging, but it does. Another very important thing is that they're super lightweight. I highly recommend these headphones.

Impressive sound quality and battery life make these JVC headphones a solid choice for the price
+ Excellent sound quality with balanced bass, mids, and trebles+ Effective Active Noise Cancellation with three modes+ Long battery life: 50 hours without ANC, 35 hours with ANC+ Good build quality; ear cups swivel flat for easier packing+ Handy companion app with customizable equalizer and button reassignment- ANC struggles with wind noise in outdoor settings- Controls are button-based, not touch-sensitive (if that is important to you)- No included protective pouch or carrying case_____I was intrigued when I came across these JVC headphones. I've been familiar with the Japan Victor Company since I was a kid, back when they were leading the VHS market. It’s great to see the company still going strong as a Japanese brand, with these headphones even being designed in Japan—a detail that speaks to the quality associated with them. The headphones did not disappoint. For the price, the sound—arguably the most important feature—is stellar and lush, with a spacious but not overdone bass. The mid-ranges and trebles are accurate and well-defined, providing a balanced listening experience. These headphones come with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) technology, which also delivers. There are three standard modes: Noise Canceling, Ambient, and Off. The noise canceling works well overall; however, on windy days, I noticed the wind can be distinctly heard especially during phone calls. It’s not the wind itself but rather a subtle effect, as though it sneaks into the microphone or through some opening, slightly impacting the sound quality. Aside from that, the ANC performs well, keeping most noises out and allowing for an immersive experience, whether I’m listening to music or audiobooks. The controls are button-based rather than touch-sensitive. Given the price, I understand this choice, and honestly, I can live with it since sound quality is my priority. Most of the controls are on the right side, with the power button on the left.Another excellent feature is the battery life: around 50 hours of listening without noise cancellation, and 35 hours with it—impressive given the price and the headphone’s lightweight build. The overall build quality is solid, which is expected from such a well-known brand. Both ear cups swivel (though they don’t fold), allowing the headphones to lie flat and slide into a backpack. However, the overhead band doesn’t fold, making the headphones wider when flat, which can be a bit cumbersome to pack. I also wish they included a protective bag or pouch. While it’s easy to find compatible cases on Amazon (like this one: amazon.com/Compatible-HA-S35BTB-Headphones-Replacement-Protective/dp/B0837XH5WV), it would have been nice to have something right out of the box. Finally, the headphones come with a handy app that lets you control music and call volume, switch noise-canceling modes, use a detailed equalizer with three custom settings, and even reassign the button functions. In the end, I thought carefully about the rating. I own another pair from a well-known Japanese brand that costs at least five times more (yes, five) and lacks the minor flaws mentioned above. But considering the comparable sound quality at a fraction of the price, I’m inclined to give these JVC headphones a solid recommendation—let’s say 4.5 stars, to be fair.

Decent for a youngling
I have a Bose and Sony noice cancelling headphones that I use regularly while working or during travel and they work great. My teen son expressed some interest in owning a set of headphones with similar design and functionality. Given his history with electronics (hint... bad!) I didn't want to invest in anything expensive. These JVC headphones fit the bill perfectly. I tested them for a couple of days before giving it to him. I'd say they're decent for what he wanted to use them for... It's a 4 star product from his point of view. The sound is good and they're comfortable to wear, which is important for extended wear time in front of the computer. The build quality is OK... a bit plasticky and light weight compared to others, but it's fine. As others indicated, there wasn't a pouch or carrying case in the package. Since he won't be taking this out of his room, not an issue, but for others it might be a deal breaker. The ANC is weak compared to others, which are the industry standard. Again, fine for him, probably deal breaker for others. I would say they're decent at this price point from a known brand.

Okay at best. Not recommended for big heads.
I am not very impressed with the quality of these headphones. The all plastic build feels very cheap and I worry I will break these if I don't baby them. While they fit on my big head, the padding on the earcups is thin and my ears make contact with the inside of the headphones which is not very comfortable. The earcups are on the smaller side so my ears don't fully fit inside, making the noise cancelling feature not work as intended. The sound quality on the default setting is piercing. Way too much of the high band is boosted. When using the bass preset it does sound better.Overall, I cannot recommend this product due to the negative experiences I've had with it.

Good sound
First, understand that I am not a sound expert. Not even close. I generally only use over the ear headphones when travelling by plane, but I haven't had a chance to these these on a plane yet. The primary reason I wanted these JVC Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones was for the noise cancelling feature. I was disappointed. I doesn't seem to cancel much sound. Because I have another set of noise cancelling headphones that cost less and that feature worked very well, I expected more from the JVC brand at this price point. The sound quality was good. The headphones were comfortable on my ears and over my head. There was no carrying bag.
