Worth it if you need them
These are pricey, sure, but if you need them for basketball or a similar court sport, you will be pleased with the quality and the fit. They are an ideal thickness for protection and support but also feel. They are constructed so as to do all those things. I don't have the most uniform foot in the world, but they conform to my dimensions. You can also pull them up or push them down on your leg and they will look good however you wear them. I like that they are not too tight on the leg, as socks that cling tend to make my lower legs itch. These are pretty great all the way around.

Good but traps moisture
I like these socks. They are comfortable and also provide some style. Washing them, they still keep their durability. Although, if you wear these all day as normal socks and your feet sweat, it will trap moisture there all day. They are good for some athletic use such as basketball or the gym, hence being basketball socks. I didn’t feel like my foot would slide from the moisture but maybe it would for prolonged use. Either way, they fit my foot, I wear a size 13 shoe and the XL socks worked.

93% polymer fibers, not very comfortable if you sweat a lot
These socks are made of 93% polymer fibers and 7% cotton. With such a high content of polymer fibers, it means moisture would be trapped in the socks and make the feet soaked if your feet sweat a lot (like me). Therefore, I don't really enjoy wearing these socks. I would probably wear them only in winter when my feet don't sweat much. They look nice indeed. However, with the brand name and a premium price, I feel Adidas should use more cotton.

good cushion
the adidas sock feels very comfortable, the padded areas with more fabric is soft and have good breathable performance. this pair comes in a single pack and the price is high, but for the quality and extra comfort is not a terrible deal.

Mostly plastic
Adidas is a popular brand, so it's pretty insulting to see them selling >60% plastic clothing at premium prices. Plastic is not only extremely cheap, but also bad for the environment. Sure polyester is said to be safe in moderation, but when everything is made of polyester instead of cotton, wool and other natural materials, it adds up and may cause environmental and health harm. Every wash, and dry will produce micro plastics which get into your lungs, blood stream, environment and it's nowhere near the price they are asking for at the time of my review ($12.40) I'll admit, I do like some qualities of polyester, it doesn't wrinkle easy, it doesn't get damaged when bleached in my experience, but the fact is that it is plastic. The socks are snug around my ankles, maybe slightly too snug, and comfortable on my feet.Overall they would be nice socks but I cannot forgive the fact it is plastic. All of the celebrities, government officials and even corporations go on and on about the dangers and harm of plastics in the environment and what do they do? They invest in plastics, they manufacturer plastics and they continue to allow clothing to be made of plastics.

Good but Not Amazing
I have some Nike Dri-Fit basketball socks to compare these Adidas select socks too and these socks are definitely thinner and have less cushioning than the Nikes. These do have some good cushioning and are easier to get on than the Nikes but they feel a bit slipperier because they are Polyester/Nylon blend. They definitely can pull off the slouchy look, there's enough fabric that if you wear them pulled up they'll go to mid-calf or higher. They will be nice to wear for times when I'm just planning to play a little and I don't feel like putting on the Nikes.
