Chilling stuff 😀
My knee has caused me issues for years. This nicely chills the problem 😀 To explain, the open point is really good. I have used one before and it is too small. The has a nice large open valve, so much better. You can break a few ice cubes and drop them in. So much better than the last one needing just cold water. This does work so much better. 👍

Bulky and Cumbersome
I’ve had problems with my knee for some time now, and have been reusing the same bag of peas on it for weeks! I thought perhaps it was time to try a ‘proper’ ice pack/support…The strap is large, but can still be pulled tight around smaller knees. There is a screw lid, with a wide mouth opening, for adding ice cubes to the strap. The ‘bag’ for the ice cubes has a large capacity and can hold a LOT of ice.I’ve pictured the strap on my knee - firstly with no ice added, and the second with a tray full of ice. Although I could have got a lot more ice in the strap, it was already looking very bulky and it became annoying to wear. The strap isn’t insulated, so the ice soon began to melt. Conclusion - yes, it works to cool the joint, but there are better ways to do so in my opinion. The peas are far quicker, more convenient, reusable (once refrozen), mould to my knee perfectly, and take up a lot less space in the freezer, compared to a never ending supply of ice. Or, a freezable ice pack would be good too.

Best with crushed ice.
I find this works best with crushed ice. Gives it more room for adjustments.

Just add ice!
This is a pretty easy to use ice pack. Dont confuse this with a gel filled ice pack which you simply put in the freezer and take out when you need it. You just add some ice and water to the pouch and it's instantly cold. What's really nice about that is you dont use it for 15 minutes until it warms up, then have to put it in the freezer again for a few hours like a normal gel pack. Instead, you can just dump out the old water and put in nice frozen ice and its good to go again. It does get cold, so you may need to wear a thin pant or compression type protector on your knee to keep the cold from being too intense if you do use it long term.

Cooling Relief with CAUTION – The Big Dawg Review, A Must-Read Review.
I recently acquired the NEWGO Ice Pack for Knee, eager to find relief for my military service-related knee injury discomfort. The product lived up to its description and advertisement, fitting comfortably and securely due to its hook and pile system, and its one-size-fits-all design made donning it a breeze. However, despite its well-manufactured construction, I discovered a potential issue—the underside material is too thin, which could potentially cause injury from excessive cold exposure to the skin. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes without discomfort. To remedy this, I found that wearing a compression sleeve underneath provided the necessary protection while still benefiting from the ice pack's therapeutic effects. Additionally, the ice pack proved to be quite bulky once filled with ice. Despite these setbacks, the product offers good value for the money, and I appreciated the excellent packaging included for storage after use.The Big Dawg Rating:Shipping/Packaging: 5/5Design/Overall Finish/Color Selection/Presentation: 4.45/5Overall Quality: 4.5/5Performance: 2/5Ease of Use/Ergonomics: 4.5/5Value for Money/Fair Price: 4/5Innovation: 4.5/5Environmental Impact: 4/5Features: 4.75/5Total Overall Average Score: 4.13/5Cultivating and experiencing items to provide insight.
