Fabulous spice to have in my cabinet. I use this in more recipes as well as additional seasoning for tomato basil on meats

I add this to chili and pasta. I like the flavor boost it gives.

I use it with my freeze dried vegetables to make soup.

The container came wrapped in plastic wrap. When I removed the plastic top I found the security/freshness seal fully broken open. The product wasn’t secure nor still fresh. For safety reasons it won’t be used. Trying to return the item has proved useless because the web sight doesn’t seem to allow returns of food products. I have no idea regarding the quality of the product. 100% loss of my money!

I bought this because it was an ingredient in a backpacking polenta recipe I found, and even though I hate having to buy a big thing of an ingredient just to try a dish out, I really wanted to give the recipe an honest try and thought it would suffer without this. This is a great way to add some acid and umami flavor to a backpacking dish! This polenta dish I made is a new staple recipe for my backpacking trips because of this tomato powder!

The color is more of a brownish than it is red. The flavor is meh.. I chose this because I'm looking for a replacement of Knorr tomato powder due to it having bioengineered ingredients and red eyes.
