Edit: died after about 100 miles, leaving me stranded.Old review: This CDI box worked well for my Honda CX500 with a Rae-San ignition conversion. I have other orange CDI boxes on the bike, and ordered another for some rough running troubleshooting. This CDI box worked well. Time will tell whether it holds up... I will be sure to update the review if it ends up failing.

Installed and worked great for 5-10 minutes. When it worked, the cart ran well. However, after 5-10 minutes, it shut off. After troubleshooting using the old cdi, it was determined this part was defective.

Shorted internally- gets way to hot even being installed in the open- no way to contact seller to discuss- not worth it- read to other reverse below- it’s no joke- these are junk

Made the scooter hard to start. I lived with it because it did de restrict the rev limiter. Worked for a week or so and left us stranded. Replaced Cdi and runs like new. Don’t waste your time or money! You get what you pay for!

Got this thinking it would help my scooter a lil bit, all it did was make my scooter not start anymore, took the plug out and watched it while hitting the start button....no spark. Put the original cdi back in did the same thing...spark. Waste of money, don't bother buying this junk

it work perfectly forabout 12 miles and then it just stopped working in the middle of the freeway had to push my scooter to the next exit and then called a friend with a pickup truck to take it home when I got home I put the old CDI in it and the scooter started right up

Scooter now runs great

Put on and wouldnt fire. Went back to old and fired right up. Wasted money
