I might need a bigger bulk package
I don't mean to brag, but I make a pretty good rice krispy treat. It's one of my specialties in the kitchen along with microwave nachos and cinnamon sugar toast. I really like the traditional rice krispy treat though. It's just so good and I don't have to make it. These are a nice variation on a classic treat. With a slight strawberry flavor, it's pretty delicious. I also really like that this is such a big package of them. That way you can eat a couple at a time and not feel like you've just devoured everything in your home. I'm not suggesting they become your sole food source as you binge watch your favorite episodes of I Love Lucy, but if you can limit yourself to one or two at a time, the bulk pack will hold you over for quite a while. There is only one thing I would change if I could and it probably doesn't apply to most who are reading this. See, I have a daughter who can't have gluten and unfortunately the official Rice Krispies are not gluten free. The knock offs in our store are, but not the original. That means she can't have them which means I feel bad eating them in front of her. I guess that means they last longer... Oh well, I knew that was the case when I ordered them and they aren't advertised as gluten free so I didn't take a star away. Just hoping someone from Kellogg's is a fan, reads this obscure review, and makes a change so I can say I changed the world. Is that too much to ask?Oh, I forgot one more thing... The packaging says it can be written on. If you do, I recommend using a sharpie or something similar. I tried with a ball point pen at first and it just wiped off.

Rice Krispies Strawberry Bars .83 oz 8 per box 12 boxes
As chewy and softly crunchy as expected, the primary difference in these Rice Krispies Treats is the strawberry flavor and pink color which I find reminiscent of the strawberry Quik drink mix. Good tasting the flavor is created with natural and artificial flavors with vegetable juice used for color. The .83 ounce bar has 90 calories, 2 grams fat (.5 saturated), 17 grams carbohydrates and 8 grams sugar (all added). There is no cholesterol in the treat and if watching salt intake sodium is 5 percent of daily value.Individually wrapped, each foil bag has an area to write a quick note to lift the recipient’s day. Regarding allergens the bars contain milk and soy ingredients and if a vegetarian or vegan they also contain gelatin. The bars are good to add to a lunch box or keep handy in car or bag for snacks. To estimate shelf-life the Best By date at the time of this review in July 2021 is 7 months in the future but dates will vary.

Mildly sweet and strawberry taste, OK sugar and calories
I was expecting an overly sweet strawberry taste...but that was not the case. It's a very subtle flavor, and if I hadn't read the packaging, I probably wouldn't even have guessed the flavor. It's not like they taste like fresh strawberries, but they don't taste crazily artificial either. Each bar is individually wrapped with a space on the wrapper to write a name or a note. I find them good for a quick boost of energy (plenty of sugar - 9 grams per serving, but just 90 calories) but not as bad as a candy bar. There are some preservatives, but overall, the nutrition facts are not terrible.I don't think the kids will throw them away at lunch time. Well worth the hassle of trying to make these on your own -- I always make them too sticky or made a mess with the melted marshmallows and butter. So if you don't want to make them, want a slightly different than plain flavor (as of this writing, however, they cost significantly more than other flavors), and are looking for a not to crazy sweet treat, this is a reasonable choice.

A guilty pleasure! I'm very guilty.
I guess I'm pretty selfish, because I got these all for myself. I don't usually eat sweets, but I love Rice Krispie treats and haven't had them in years. So, when the offer arose, I couldn't help jumping at the chance to get them...all 96 bars! What's really so bad about it, is that I ate an entire box within 3 days. I wasn't sure I would like the Strawberry flavor, but I actually love it. The bars are really quite soft, yet chewy at the same time, with just enough strawberry flavor. I see some say that it tastes chemically, but I don't find that it tastes that way at all. Maybe it's because I haven't eaten sweets in so long. Now, it sure seems I'm making up for lost time. I'm not sure whether to hurry up and eat them all to have them out of the house, or try and savor them for as long as I can. It's just such a dilemma. Depending on your willpower and whether you're okay with throwing all self-control out the window now and then, I would definitely recommend these! They are so, so, yummy!
