Pure calcium bentonite clay with no added ingredients, no odor.
• Would I get it again and would I recommend it: Yes• Why: It's a great option for a skincare masking ingredient at a good price and generous 16 oz (1 pound) size. The quality was excellent and there were no clumps or odors, and it was very finely ground.Pros:-No added dyes or other irritating ingredients you don't need or want in your mask.-Pure 100% calcium bentonite clay-Good value. You get 16 oz (1 pound).-High quality. No odor, clumps, it was finely milled.-Safety sealed under the lid of the jar for protection.• Cons:-None• Tips:-If you're inexperienced with clays and mask making, you might want to note that sometimes just using clay with water can be irritating or drying to the skin.-If it burns your skin or stings, you should learn to adjust the PH. It’s simple and easy to do.-This is due to the PH of the skin and the PH of the clay and water. Commercially made masks use ingredients that are PH adjusters to get the right balance of PH. Each clay has a different PH and has to be adjusted differently and at different amounts.-You can adjust the PH to where it should be to not be irritating to the skin by adding tiny amounts as needed of food grade citric acid or common baking soda to your clay and water mixture. You can use inexpensive PH strips or papers to test (I don't use a whole strip, but tear of a bit).-Google "labmuffin clay PH" for a great article on how to simply and safely do this. I'm not affiliated but a fan. She's an actual scientist with a love of beauty and she explains how to do this to get the right balance of PH.• Final Thoughts:-This is a high quality mud for mask making at a good value for the amount you get.-It's pure calcium bentonite clay, with no added ingredients and it has no odor.

Amazing face mask
This clay has done wonders for my face. This clay mask is very easy to use.I absolutely love the way the clay mask has felt and transformed my skin. I mixed this clay with apple cider vinegar and applied it to my face; as the clay dried, you could feel it get tighter and tighter, but it also had a tingling feeling which I enjoyed. When I rinsed this mask off the first time, I was in awe at how good my face looked. My complexion was glowing; my pores had shrunk; my blackheads were almost gone, my face felt buttery smooth, and any texture I had on my face before using this mask was gone. One of my biggest things was that my face felt moisturized and not dry/tight like some masks leave you feeling. With continued use of this mask, my face looks and feels better every time. My fine lines are even becoming less noticeable. I love that I can get a spa-like facial experience at home. This clay mask can even be used on other parts of your body and your hair. I can not believe I never knew about this clay mask before, but it is a must-have for my beauty routine. I absolutely recommend this mask; you will be amazed at what it can do for your skin.

Feels good and Rinses easily
I followed the instructions and it seemed like there were lumps in it that I needed to work out. But when I put it on, there were no lumps on my face. It dried quickly. I left it on longer than expected, cause I wanted to finish the end of a TV show. It rinses easily, and felt smooth. Afterwards, my skin felt a tightness, but wasn't dried out.I put the remainder of the mixture into a little jar to use another day. When I went back to use what was in the jar, it was still a good texture and went on great. It also had no bad scent or anything. I like that this is in a powder for longevity. I like the smoothness of the mixture. It hasn't caused any bad affects to my skin.

Great clay mask - a few rocks
Overall, this clay mask is really good! I normally do premixed clay masks because they're less hassle, but they are also really expensive. This is a much more affordable option and it works just as well for my skin! My skin gets really soft after using this and I think it does help with acne. The only issue I have with this product is that I found a few rocks in it. So I would definitely sift the powder before mixing it up. Other than that, this product is great!

Not good for dry skin
I have read a lot about the benefits of bentonite pulling bacteria and toxins out of the skin, so I was excited to try this. The first time I opened it, the seal pulled up with the lid, and a little bit of powder flew out. I started out with 1 Tbsp of powder and 2 tbsp of water, instead of the suggested 1:3 ratio, and it already seemed quite thin. It was easy to mix up, and I painted it on my face with a small soft paintbrush. I left this on for the minimum suggested time of 5 minutes to test the results. After rinsing it off in the sink, there were little clumps of clay in the bottom. Luckily my strainer caught them, as it looks like it could potentially clog the drain if there was a lot. At first, my skin felt smoother. However, after a little while it started feeling tight and itchy and looked dried out. I put some moisturizer on, and that feeling went away. I am glad I didn't leave this on any longer, as it seems to have a drying effect. This isn't good when you already have really dry skin like mine. I had my teenager, whose pores produce much more oil than mine, try this. This time I mixed in even less water, and it was a much better, thicker consistency and actually easier to apply. He also only had it applied for 5 minutes but didn't experience the dried out skin afterwards. So I would say this product is good if you have oily skin, but it's just not for me. For $10, this large tub is a good value.

I love this stuff.
I have been using this stuff for years. I find the easiest way to use it is to get a small Ziploc bag and put your clay and your apple cider vinegar in it together and apply it from there. You can actually feel it pulsating as it dries. It is a little bit difficult to take off. I find it easiest to get hot water on paper towels or baby wipes and remove it that way so you can just toss them in the trash and not worry about it clogging drains.
