Edu-Toys Leonardo Da Vinci Paddle Boat

My son had a lot of fun putting this together. He's played with it multiple times and when he's not playing with it it's on a bookshelf decorating his room. Fantastic toy highly recommended!

Cute plastic model. The instructions seem straight forward, but the device doesn’t work easily or reliably. The gears don’t line up the pieces don’t fit together well and I would never give this junk as a gift. I feel bad my son and I had to deal with it. It totally ruins the idea and creativity of DaVinci.

Very cheap plastic the photo looks much better than the actual product which is very bland it doesn’t fit together properly the paddles and gears won’t turn without stripping I would’ve paid four dollars for this unfortunately I paid more

I purchased this model as a gift for my husband after he put together the Da Vinci clock, the clock was very cool and well made. This model (the paddle boat) was half put together already and had very few parts to assemble. The parts did fit well but the spring that makes the model move was broken (EXACT same failure on the flying model). Overall I would not buy this again

I paid around $15 for this and I wasn't expecting much based on some negative reviews. I didn't really have problems with the parts not matching. You do need to be careful though. My kids (11 and 15) assembled it and had to tell them to watch out for certain pieces during assembly or you could orient them wrong or they could break if you're not careful with them. So it's a little tricky but everything should assemble fine and you'll end up with a model with some moving parts of what you see in the picture. It is plastic and I wasn't expecting anything else so that part is fine with me. Overall, it's a good display/conversation piece for a kid's room.

The gears wouldn't mesh, and I could not get the "O" piece to fit as indicated in the directions. All I have are the two paddles that will turn without moving any of the gears. .

Good model, see other review... fiddly bits but looks good next to the other modelsforgot to mention in the other post, but all three models pieces were cut well and fit snugly together on each of the ones purchased.
