Happy but could define flipper sizes better
I bought both a pink and blue set of these in the s/m and m/l. My girls are 8 & 11. My 11 y.o. has size 7 1/2-8 ladies size foot. It would have been helpful to have a little more defined size on the flippers rather than s/m and m/l. My older daughter is a an adult size and if it would have said the large fits up to a size 6 ladies I would have bought an adult size. She can squeeze her foot in them but it is a pretty tight fit. Other than that the girls LOVE them and the goggles are just what they were asking for. They also come with a nice case to put them in, which is nice but not very durable. My 8 y.o. broke it the 1st day. But she tends to be a bit rough on things :-).

Seen at Dicks $$$, bought on Amazon.
If you have a young child in your life that sees a set of these things in a retail sporting goods store, just tell her they will come in the color of their choice if they can wait two days. The Two days saved Grandpa $60. This is a quality "childs" set. This was for a 4 year old. She just wanted a snorkel. Grandpa was willing to buy a good one until my daughter stepped in and said she'll play with it for two days. The nice snorkel was $79.95. No mask or Fins. It was a quality snorkel, but not for a four year old. Upon receiving it she walked around in the house all day with the swim fins on. And it was available in Pink, her favorite color. But overall she got a mask, snorkel, and fins... all made by Speedo for Twenty Dollars. Money well spent. -tom-

Hard plastic fins and mask straps that slip
Bought these for a 7 and 8 year old. The mask straps constantly slip so you're readjusting them all the time. The fins are hard plastic so they hurt the top of your feet. The snorkel seems to be of reasonable quality considering the cost and has a loop to hold it upright like it should. The mask does fit decently over small faces. Overall a low-quality item. I'd look at something else first.

Low cost, decent vacation snorkeling set for pre-teens
Don't expect to get the highest quality kids' snorkeling equipment in the set. But the set is plenty for backyard snorkeling and free-diving training for a 10-year old.Other of the flippers cracked in join of the foot case and the fin after 4h of use.Low cost + decent quality = good valueI'd recommend this set as a vacation set. There are better options for more serious underwater sports.

Absolute piece of junk. Surprised at the lack of quality from Speedo.
I am surprised at such inferior quality in a Speedo product. This set is built like a toy. It is completely unusable. I have never seen a mask or goggles with a strap like this, even in a dollar store. It might as well be made out of rigid plastic. It has no stretch in it, so it can't be tightened. It is made out of the same material as the frame of the mask. So no matter how tight you make it it doesn't seal. The snorkel looks like it is made from aquarium filter parts. It is just a piece of open pipe. I could make this in my basement with pvc pipe. It has no one way valve, so if your child goes below water level with it they will probably inhale water into their lungs and drown. Considering that this mask is made for a very young child(the small size says it fits a child with a 9 -13 kids shoe size), this is an extremely thoughtless and stupid design. And I cannot imagine who thought this was okay. After looking at the worthlessness of the mask and snorkel, I didn't bother to look at the fins. I just packed it up and sent it back. But I have no doubt the fins are probably just as cheesy as the mask and snorkel. I will rethink ever buying anything with the name Speedo on it after this experience.

Better than the store bought one.
There are two seals around the mask. That helps my 5yo keep it positioned correctly so it won’t leak. She has lots of hair. The snorkel is also a hit. She hasn’t used the flippers yet.

Disappointed in Speedo!!!
I'm not one to write negative reviews, but I really feel that with this product something needs to be said to keep another parent from making the same mistake as me...purchasing this Speedo Aqua Quest Set. I'm a long time fan of the brand Speedo, in fact the dive mask my 7 1/2 yr. old daughter has gotten lots of enjoyment out of is by Speedo. This set however, is NOT the quality you'd expect from the brand. First, let me just say that my daughter was beyond excited to try out her new swim fins in our neighborhood pool. The fins are made entirely of a hard plastic so there was no "give" when she would bend her feet. The fins literally broke and cracked after only an hour or so of swimming. Second, the swim mask lets water in a lot more than her previous Speedo mask while diving. The snorkel, no matter how I adjust it to the mask falls over into the water allowing water in with it, which of course defeats the purpose of a snorkel. The combo of the faulty snorkel and leaky mask make this set a total waste of money. For the price, it's not worth me to pay to have it shipped backed because once I deducted shipping costs, I would only be left with a $5.00 refund. So we're stuck with a pair of broke swim fins, a leaky mask and a water-sucking snorkel. Please head my advice and look elsewhere for a child's quality swim set.

Just what my child wanted
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas (a snorkel was the number one thing on her list, the only thing she told Santa she wanted). She is a size 11-12 in shoes and I purchased the S/M size. The fins fit perfectly you just adjust the straps to the child's foot size. We haven't tried this product out in the water yet but everything looks well-made and the price was right!Quick Tip: Don't let your child walk around in the house in this full-gear unless you want them to trip over their fins and fall flat on their face ;)
