Good Quality. I like how they are compressed to very thin when shipped. They are dense and hold up nice.

I like to change out my kitchen sponges regularly so having a cache of them under the sink is helpful. In another review apparently someone thought the flattened, compressed sponges were the way they were always going to be, but submerge one in water and they plump up to be the usual kitchen sponge size. I also microwave them for a minute most mornings to sanitize (they don't have any scratchy material on one side).

I'm sure most have experienced an issue with kitchen sponges beginning to smell after prolonged use. If you search the web, you'll find countless methods for rejuvenating them and eliminating the smells. (Heating a sponge in a microwave oven for a minute is really popular). While some of these methods work, the fix doesn't last long and soon the sponge stinks and leaves that musty aroma on your hands.These are the solution. They come in packages of 12, 16 and 24. They're made of wood pulp, so they're biodegradable, if you care about that. They are compressed in the box, so even the largest size takes up very little storage. When you need one, you pop it out of the box, run it under clean water, and in a few seconds, fully-expanded sponge.They're strong but flexible. They provide lots of suds with just a few drops of dishwashing soap. And the best part? After a lot of use (they do last a long time), when they start to get that odor, toss it and get a new one. Simple.

The first two packs of these sponges were good quality, but the last one I purchased had some issues. Some of the sponges were lighter weight and thinner than the others, and one had poor density and started to disintegrate after just 10-12 days of use. Had it not been for the quality issues with the last batch, I might have given these five stars. I'll give them one more shot, and hope the last package was just a fluke.

These don't last very long before they develop a mildew odor. But the price is low enough for me to be willing to keep ordering them.
