Winsor & Newton Designer's Gouache, 14 ml (0.47oz) tube, Neutral Grey No.3

I wanted to try this to add white on top of my water color. It works great! I also figured out I can add a little to a color to make an opaque light shade of any color, but mixing with my water color.I could buy a bunch of different pastels but just buying the white and mixing with my water colors makes it really versatile. here is a painting where I used it on some waves.I'd say I'm beginner to painting but do have a lot of drawing experience.

Liquitex never disappoints. This is the best turquoise I have tried. I use a lot of turquoise and Liquitex ranks high in Color, consistency and coverage. Thank you!

A little small and expensive but works well for making my watercolors more opaque.

I've heard some people say don't use gouache, But I Love this gouache! Because of this gouache I'm buying More Gouache! And I Really Like that it's in a Tube. I don't need a lot to paint with so I just use what I need. You just need to add water to get it to the consistency you want.

I use this brand of gouache all the time for one of my classes in college and it works very well. I really admire the fact that I can use different opacities with this brand of gouache (e.g. using gouache at 100% opacity). The colors are nice and bright either straight out of the tube or when they are mixed with other colors. Although this brand of gouache is a tad bit pricey, I highly recommend purchasing these if you’re already an artist or if you’re majoring in art like myself.

Nice for what I intended to use it for. Price rather high for amount.

I've had this tube for <3 years and ever since I've opened it it has a methylated moldy smell to it like very strong and it's not just this particular tube of the Windsor Newton designer zinc white The tube that came in my mixing set has the same problem I have a tube of M Graham titanium permanent light that is probably close to 15 years old and it doesn't smell a bit where is these W&Ns I have are <3 years old and they stink to the point where I can't use them . And Of course I need white when I'm using gouache So I guess I'm using the 20 year old tube that didn't smell. other than the smell this stuff is great I don't know if I got a weird batch or something but It stinks so bad that I'm just throwing it away.

It’s not at all the same colour as shown in the picture! Even though it says purple, I was relying on the colour and not on the name
