Purchased two (2 packs). I ended up using one package for the picture attached. The beam is 6’10” for reference. I actually purchased the mantle piece from Frontgate. Included lights were horrible. Took a chance with these and glad I did. The lights are very bright. All lights off in room and they are really lighting up the mantle and stone. The different modes are a nice change up. Remote is nice feature. Sit back and hit different modes from remote and see what you like. Use a little patience unwinding to keep the copper wire from getting twisted. Bottom line these are great. They really throw off some light which I wanted. You can dim with remote. Can’t comment yet on battery life. These are really cool and great price point. 2 day shipping from seller.

Ordered in March for a new patio umbrella when it would start warming up in spring took it out to install on the umbrella today and found it was DOA and unfortunately 10 days past the return date. Inspected and found a broken wire.

I was searching for a battery operated string of lights in orange to accent our banister in our hallway. Since there was no wall outlet nearby, I needed a battery operated string of lights. I found this product and thought to give it a try. The length was more than sufficient to wind through the fall leaf garland we had wound through the banister and it accented the area beautifully. We received several compliments on how good it looked and the three AA batteries lasted the entire season (nearly two months). Once my wife picked out the mode she wanted, the timer worked perfectly each day.

Cycle and they come on, work their charm, go on/off at exactly the same times every night!They’re Greeeeeeat!And it’s been freezing in the 20’s in MA, still working. I used Energizer AA (silver) batteries.And I’m not using #4 Fade. It’s a steady light.I use the Fade on 2 smaller trees with 20 ft string of lights.•I have another review answering somebody’s questions. Sorry for the unchecked iTypos.I put these out on Dec 8th, 6 hrs/night x 14 days. The Fade action sets are dim now and I will change tomorrow so I’d say batteries last 2 weeks. I bought several light sets, different lengths and they all appear to work the same and batteries last 2 weeks. Using action on the light i.e. blinking, flashing, fading will use more power but still about 2 weeks, they’re just a little dimmer.
