I thought I was buying two Rotors!
I thought I would be getting two rotors for the price (what a great deal that would have been!) My fault! Just a heads up to anyone reading this. This rotor looks awesome. I cant wait to get the other one, haha!

bad batch?
I have these on another vehicle with akebono pads and it's the best combination that vehicle has ever had. I purchased the same items for our tundra and have had a heck of a time getting it right. I noticed immediate harsh shuddering and took apart one side, to find that the silver paint had been hiding a hairline crack across one entire side of the rotor along the braking surface, and another spot where it looks like a scrap shaving had been pressed and machined into the braking surface. Amazon provided a refund for this unit, but I had to order a replacement elsewhere since amazon was temporarily out of stock. Now with the replacement on, that side seems to be driving/braking fine, but there is a softer shudder from the other side. All the nuts are hand-tightened, the mating surfaces were all quite clean, so maybe there was a bad run of these things. I'll give it a couple more days and send the other side back if this doesn't clear up. I've been doing my own brakes for 25 years and have never run into this. Our other vehicle with these has shown them to be excellent and flawless in use over 20k miles.

Excellent Brake Product
I place these on a 04 Sequoia today. I paired them with the RAYBESTOS ATD976C pads. The vehicle stops like a charm. It is not a sports car but the vehicle stops as good as a Full Sized SUV should. I am very happy with these products. The vehicle no longer Fades to a stop, from 60-0 miles the tires actually chirp a little just before the ABS kicks in. If you are haveing problems with brakes, you might want to take a look at this. I have used Raybestos pads for 20 years and they have always worked great for me. CRAZYJON in correct in his review. I just wanted to add my own. BTW, I did the Burnish process on my pads and rotors. You can google the process and raybestos has it on there website. I would recommend if you do this that you have a very safe place to do it. It can be dangerous on a occupied road. Good luck with your brake job.June 2014, I have had these for several months now. They still stop Very Well, just like when they were new. One note, I just drove this vehicle on vacation 2000 miles round trip. Fully loaded with six people and cargo. The rotors do seem to make a little noise when braking hard or under a load, but the performance is well worth the small amount of extra noise. I had not noticed it driving around town since installation last year. I will buy these rotors again as needed for my other vehicles.

Raybestos 96931PER disc brake rotors
After I finally got tired of the poor performance of the oem rotors on my '04 Tundra, I looked at these, they are a perfect fit, and are so far performing much better than the oem . , More linear braking.I had no confidence in the oem ones . I'd recommend, plus they look cool on the truck

so far - so good
This is a good upgrade over the stock rotors. Installed these with the Raybestos ceramic pads. Stopping power is very good withno noise or warping problems. Would recommend these.

Rotors
So far, these rotors are excellent. However, with any item like this it takes time to tell. Once the wear sets in at over 10K to 15K miles I wil be better able to judge. They have increased my stopping power. I am satisfied so far.

Warped after one year a 10k miles.
One year on the vehicle and now badly warped with only normal driving habits. Taking them to get them turned unless there is a deeper problem like crack.

spec for tundra installed on 4runner
installed these on my 1997 4runner. Stopping power like you would not beleive. Even after multiple 70-0mph nosedives there was NO fading or warpage. I feel safer with the big brake upgrade, used toyota ceramic pad kit with these rotors. its a beautiful thing.
