Decent for the price.
I would have struggled if I hadn't previously assembled a large work-bench designed along similar lines, and which gave me a suitable mallet. Some of the flanges needed a little prizing out to get them to go into the slots, and a few went down the "wrong" side of the frame, but without compromising the sturdiness of the unit. It does the job, will never look beautiful, but it's a good item for the price.

Good product
Easy to put together. No nails or screws. Fairly sturdy. Can put the shelves as high or low as you want. Good buy.

Sturdy, good quality shelving.
I bought two sets of these in Mid 2021, when they cost only Β£28 each. The best compliment I can give them: they're now Β£50 - but still worth the price. These shelves are solid, great quality. I would say they're designed to be used in a garage/workshop/shed but I've got them indoors, working as bookshelves. I'm not talking a few paperbacks here; these are packed with large, hardback, reference books and they take the weight no problem. The finish isn't fancy but they don't look out of place; depends on your decor I suppose. I'm absolutely delighted with them and would buy them again with no hesitation, even at the new, post-covid price. The instructions aren't great, pretty poor in fact, but a wee bit of logic and they go together fine, although I would suggest it's a two-person job. As you build them, they get a wee bit heavy but very ungainly. A second pair of hands, even just to support one end, will be a great help.As for tools, you ππππ need a mallet - a hammer will chip the paint. Other than that, a pair of pliers will help to fold the metal tabs over but no other tools are really necesary. Can't think of any problems with them; I'd recommend thee to anyone. As for strength; I can't really think of anything, that would fit on the shelves, that would be too heavy - they're solid!! 5 stars all the way, unless you want to deduct half a point for the poor instructions.π

No Space? Invest In This.
The media could not be loaded. Β I bought two of these shelving units for extra storage because Iβm very short on space and have no storage cupboard anywhere in the house. Had everything jammed into kitchen drawers and very hard to access anything. It was quite a bit fiddly to put together but is possible to make by yourself even though I had my sister helping me to hold together while assembling it.Learnt the hard way by making the first one without knowing where to start. Wizzed through the second one though. My advise to anyone assembling this; be ready with a screwdriver and a hammer. Screwdriver was the most important to me because I used it to open up the little slots where required so itβs easier to slip the notches into them. Otherwise youβll have a time of it trying to stick them together. (My biggest mistake during assembling the first one, not using the screwdriver straight away. Lots of sore fingers to attest to this). Very nice to look at even though itβs out in the open with all my things in show.

Great if a little fiddly to set up.
The product was great and easy to assemble, it was a little fiddly to set it up, mainly as I ended up slicing my hands on the Sharpe edges. One tip would be to ware gloves. The finished item is great. I ended up splitting it to make 2 shelves side by side and I am really happy, just wished it was a bit bigger with more shelves to add. I think I will purchase another one to get me that option.
