GlowCity Glow-In-the-Dark LED Skeleton Gloves – Flash or Static Light Up Modes

Soooo, I ordered a pair of these for a Halloween party. The first set I received were dead on arrival. As such I left a 1 star review. Without asking the manufacturer refunded my money and sent me a new pair that work perfectly.

If the lights kept working, these are great. They aren't too hot or cumbersome and the color is nice. The problem is that the thumb and pioneer finger on the left hand stopped working within a couple hours. More lights stopped working as the night wore on. By the second night, both gloves had nonfunctioning lights. Good for a one-time event, I suppose.

I bought these for an epic rave and I got there planning to whip these babies out at the right time and do a light show for everyone. I put them on and start dancing and then all of the sudden the entire hand but the thumb goes dark. I used them for not even 20 minutes and I was planning to dance with them on all night. I still had fun but it still upsets me that the wires on these were so fragile and literally just fell out of the very poor installation when the purpose of these gloves is for a light show (WHICH IS NOT A FRAGILE ACTIVITY!) Couldn't be more upset about this.

When I first saw this item, I was considering what items I should get for my DJ show, especially since Halloween is just around the corner. I wanted to do something that would entertain the crowd as well as allow me to dance with the crowd as well, all the while showing off a few interesting ideas. I saw these gloves and figured this would be a great addition to the show as well as being able to "wow" the crowd.When I finally got these, I had to check it out right away, and sure enough it looked good and worked good... at least with the lights. Problems started when I tried to put them on my hands. The gloves were very tight. At first I figured maybe I missed something when I was checking out the page and info. Nope, didn't miss anything, the description read "One size fits all". Well, that's not "exactly" the case here. Seems more likely that it fits kids to adults with slimmer fingers and hands. Ideally the size is meant for someone who doesn't have fingers longer than 2.5 inches for index finger.Now, with that said, I also did figure out something else. Although the quality is fairly good, you still need to put them on gently, as I could see the wiring very clearly through the clothe. This leaves me to believe that you have to be very careful when you wear this item, as it would be easy to rip the wiring right out should you be over excessive with the gloves.The lighting is very good and is pretty bright, even in dim lighting. The fiber-optics that are laced in the fingers are pretty good and light all the way to the finger tips. Now the picture in the description is a bit overly photo-adjusted for appearance, so please keep that in mind. There is a button on the back of the gloves which give you 1 of 3 settings... 1.) fast strobe... 2.) slow strobe... 3.) solid light, and the button works pretty good. It's not ultra hard to find, it's just above and between the 2 batteries. Battery life is pretty good, I been using these for 5 days so far and the battery hasn't died on me yet. Guessing the battery life is a few weeks, if used continuously.Overall not bad, but do be careful when using them as it's obvious that it's easy to rip the wiring if you use excessive force with the gloves. Not meant for hard labor, used for display and fashion purposes only. Also, be careful when you try to put them on or take them off as it's also easy to rip the wiring if you are not careful. One last thing, one size does NOT fit all. Meant for people who have small/slim fingers. Best used for kids / teenagers / young adults.

Gloves are shown in black and sent as white. Product was damaged, one didn't work. Even though vendor replaced with extra batteries, one of the pinky fingers of the replacement gloves didn't work.

Meh. The light burnt out on one of the gloves after one use.

These gloves certainly did the job. They had a nice level of brightness and looked pretty amazing as part of a Gambit costume. However, there were some negatives. The gloves themselves are fairly small and inflexible. They're also white, which doesn't really come through in the product photos. We had to buy fabric paint to dye the backs of the gloves black to match the costume. Also, when the gloves arrived, one was already flashing. Apparently, the glove had been turned on somewhere in the mailing process. Still, the battery lasted throughout 2 separate Halloween parties, so it wasn't much of an issue. All in all, I was pleased.

LOVE THESE! They are REALLY bright--I use them when walking my dogs in the dark.Very good value for the money.I did see some comments on the sizing...my hands are medium sized, and finger length. I don't think they would fit larger hands.
