I saw a few reviews complaining of mould, rightfully so but I have to presume they were just unlucky, since I'm on prime I purchased figuring I could return if it came damaged but was very happy to see it was pristine in its box on opening. Very smooth elegant finish and fits an industry standard A4 pad perfectly, for example I currently keeping a Cambridge legal pad in mine with a fountain pen. I am yet to try a side bound notebook as I have none currently, if there are problems with review will be updated but if this is not edited within a month of posting presume it fit just as well. I dithered on 4 or 5 stars as their are cheaper alternatives that work just as well but with ugly logos on them, this is smart and clean looking so the additional cost for just appearance had to be taken into account but, you get what you pay for.

This is a decent product and very handy to use for note takingI use it for taking notes at a course I am doing and its a great product to store notes and slide in

This is exactly the A4 size map I have been looking for. I like the finish, the way you close it with a strap and finally the price is atractive. I recently bought a second one!

The folio itself is lovely, but did arrive (as I know others have also mentioned) with mould on the outside and inside. It wiped off no problem at all though, so didn't really think this was too big of an issue. The brown is a lovely colour and the material is flexible enough to bend the cover back to reduce the space taken up when its open. I didn't notice a smell, just the mould let it down for me.

just refurbished an antique partners desk decided to go for the vegan option on desk accessories. product was nicely packaged, however, on opening the item was badly soiled with some sort of fungus inside and out, in some places the the PU leather was literally stuck together with the fungus, it was disgusting. sent the item back from whence it came rapidly. judging by the feedback above they have a bit of a problem, !

Real shame, looked like it would have been a good looking product, I ordered two, they arrived well packaged in nice boxes but despite silica sachets, white mould had grown on both.
