Big and Tall Office Chair-High Back Swivel Mesh Chair for Big Person, with Tilt Reclining Mechanism and Lock, Holds up 400 LBS, Black

The chair itself is the 2nd plus size chair ( different models) I've bought from Amazon. This one did not come with instructions. It was delivered to my office, a soul sucking cubicle farm where I work as as a DEGREED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER. My cube mate (Also Engineer) and I figured it out, but were left wondering which washers ( varying sizes) were for what location. Heaven help the Liberal Arts graduate who tries to assemble this baby. Other that that, Great comfortable chair for a big& tall person. Much better than the first one I bought, which did not adjust height.

I thought this would be a great office chair for me because I'm a big guy. It says it's for up to 400 lbs. and I come in at 350. I replaced the casters (wheels) with flat feet and made it my daily office chair at the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine. Two months into quarantine, the right-side armrest split in half, but I was able to push it back together. Then a couple weeks later, the left-side armrest did the same thing. I decided to get some glue and that would resolve the armrests splitting. Then today, not quite three months into using the chair, the reclining mechanism blew out. I can sit, but I have no support whatsoever on the back. I might try to just take that part off and use it as a stool, but I'm not going to buy another one. I guess I'll have to get a chair that can hold 500 lbs.

I've had this chair for approximately 2-3 months now, and it's holding up well. Took about 20-30 minutes to assemble. The seat is comfortable, the back mesh breathes well. The pull out let rest feels like cheap plastic but gets the job done, and for far less $$ than other chairs to offer the feature. I'd definitely buy it again.

Ordered this chair for my wife. When we received it, there was no hardware. More on this later. When we did finally get it assembled, it's ok. Not a bad chair for the price. I have mixed feelings about the chair back ratchet system. It works ok, but the chair back always seems a little too low. And when you try to raise it a bit higher, the back falls all the way down again. Bit of a pain to get it where you want it. And you can never get it as high as you would want it. As I said earlier, it came without the bolts and washers needed to assemble it. The manufacturer said they would send me the hardware but they never did. Amazon would not do anything either. My only option was to send the chair back at my expense for a refund. So I bought the bolts and washers online costing me a bit more than I am happy about. This 175$ chair wound up costing me over 200$ Will not be purchasing anything from Wahson again.

I first must admit that I am not within the normal distribution of humans on the planet, and at 6'10" and 400lbs, I am well above average for taller people. However this chair maintains the minimum defined value for a "big/tall" chair.Pro's:Con's:~Lumbar support at its highest point cushions the kidneys rather than any lumbar.~ The arm rests are not padded, and not very adjustable vertically. Additionally, they have a pressed two piece construction that doesn't a method to tighten. Quality checks were not introduced on the chair.~ The seat creates pressure points in the back of your legs regardless of what settings are applied to the seat pan.If you are desiring to purchase the chair, consider also buying an additional cushion for your own sanity.

PRO: Great price, solidly built, very comfortable, well packaged arrived days sooner than expected.CON: The stamped steel molding that covers the joint of the base legs appears to have been taken from the bottom of the barrel so to speak. It is scarred, not round to the point that I had to remove it to put the gas lift into the center hole of the star base. I would appreciate a replacement for this piece.

This chair will be used by my husband in our home office. Was fairly easy to put together but wish there were written instructions and not just picture instructions.Hopefully it will hold up for the price I paid. Time will tell.So we’ve had this chair for awhile now. The outside cover on the armrest have both fallen off and won’t stay on. Chair seat is uncomfortable as being very firm/hard. The hydraulic system is very good and holding up. Would not purchase again.

Almost EVERY time I go to get out of the chair, like anyone would do I put my hands on the armrests and with the tiniest amount of pressure the armrest mechanics BLOW apart. Than I spend the next 10 to 30 minuets looking for the two little plastic pins that flew out from under the unsecured plastic cover and reinsert them into the mechanism. TOTAL CRAP design !!!
