Feit Electric Grow Light 60W 2ft LED for Indoor Plants and Gardens, Four Head Quad Light, Hydroponic Linkable, GLP24H/60W/LED

Just wanted to keep a few herb pots alive over dark winter months, but not give up all my work surface. I transfer them to windowsills on nicer days. I plugged it into a BN-LINK surge protector timer outlet (half the outlets are on timer, half are normal so I can have desk lamp, etc plugged into it). I read that these plants need like 2 hours artificial light for every hour of sunlight - so about 14 hours under a lamp! It's easier plugged into the timer, it turns on at 6am. I used a couple of command large picture hanging damage free hanging strips to mount it under the desk, the light is very lightweight and it seems like it will hold fine. I found this dolly on Amazon too, Mount-It dolly (took a couple shipments to get one not chipped), makes it easier to maneuver them out for their field trips to the windowsill or kitchen island for a haircut.

Fixture is bright and will definitely get the job done ! Will update review based on lifespan of using unit everyday

These are made of plastic so light, I worried they would not last. I have four—the three oldest are now three years in service and they still do the job. (And the fact that they are feather weight makes them easy to hang from small hooks with no worry of them crashing down.) My seedlings love these, and that makes me happy.

This is my third year using this model to start vegetable seedlings indoors. I bought another fixture this year to expand a little bit. In my experience this will work to start peppers, tomatoes, kale, etc. indoors from seed. Just make sure to keep the light within ~4 inches or less of the top of the plants and to have enough lights to cover the canopy completely.

This review is for: Feit Electric GLP24FS/19W/LED Dual Full LED Plant Grow Tube Light, 1.73” H x 23.33” L x 4.9” D, 450 Nm Blue, 655 Nm Red Spectrum. We bought these to replace some old fluorescent fixtures we had been using in our plant shelves. I first noticed some burning/bleaching on our basil. Planted tomatoes and peppers. They grew really well but the have quickly reached the height of the lights and they are again bleaching the leaves, I assume because the light is too intense or the plants are too close to the light. I printed some diffusion sheaths on my 3D printer to diffuse the light a bit. It makes the light much nicer looking since you can't see the individual pink and blue LEDs anymore. I made the sheaths 1 mm and 2 mm thick from PLA. They just snap over the cylinders. I'll see if that helps with the bleaching, not sure how much intensity they will block.

My seedlings seem to love this light, so I have no complaints. Will be buying another, especially for the price.

Great for small-scale gardener. Small enough to tuck under cabinets for use on a countertop - covers a standard 12"x24" seedling tray for early seed starts in the late winter.

Ive been using these lights for 4 years. Started with one because I wasn’t sure they would stand up. After the second year I bought a couple more. I now run 8 and never had a issue with anyone them. First one still running strong.

I've had this for about 2 weeks now, and my plants are thriving. I have a low light condo and was struggling to keep anything alive - but since I've had this my plants are all springing new growth. This is a low wattage unit but it seems to be more than adequate for indoor use. I have it on for about 12 hours a day and place the plants underneath it, it seems to work well like that.It's compact and light weight, and was easy to add to the bottom of a shelf with provided screws. It doesn't put out any appreciable heat so I can have it quite close to the plants. The light is surprisingly bright and makes nice ambient light too.Happy so far!

My plants absolutely LOVE this light!! I have 2 other types of full spectrum lights but the plants do significantly better with this one. My fiddle leaf figs are growing leaves within less than a week with this light, it's crazy! And my white bird of paradise grew a huge new leaf within a few weeks! I just wish this light had a timer and came in a few smaller options (clip/clamp on, strips etc) so that I could put them in more confined spaces like in bookcases or on desks etc. Other than that, it's awesome. And I just bought a separate plug in timer which works great. Overall, I love this light and can't recommend it enough!

I bought this after my old grow light burned out and this one has given me way better growth of my Seediings than the previous light I had from a different brand. I liked the first one so much that I bought 2 more and my plants have been very healthy and happy.I like how you can connect up to 6 lights together and don’t need any additional tools to do it.The light comes with hooks that work ok but I’ve found I’ve had to use alternate hanging for some of my lights. That’s a minor complaint that doesn’t reduce the rating or how well they’ve worked for me though.

I put them in my IKEA Milsbo "greenhouse" cabinet and they give adequate light for my plants. I expected some level of pink light but I'm happy to say that they are definitely more white than pink. Unless you look directly at the lights, they aren't hard on the eyes at all. My plants are starting to reach for the light, so in that sense I can see that they are providing the necessary light for my plants to survive over the winter season. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend them for anyone considering this type of set-up.
